M.A.T.H. Station Rotations
Thank you to Kelly O'Connor and Gail Clements of Lake WIndward Elementary for sharing these fabulous ideas!
Math rotations consist of students rotating to different stations during math instructional time. Often there is a direct instruction, then the remainder of the time, students move into flexible groups depending on the unit and skills being taught.
M- Math with the teacher (Guided practice with the teacher).
A- At your seat (Practicing a skill or concept at their seat or in small groups on the floor).
T- Technology (Skill practice, application or creation using technology).
H- Hands On Practice (Using manipulatives to practice a skill).
M.A.T.H. PLANS: (For Technology Ideas, Focus on the T part of the plans)
*These are samples from throughout the unit plans shown
